Cashew Crumbles – A Vegan Parm!
A tasty non-dairy addition to so many recipes, this is always in my fridge! Sprinkle it on pastas, sandwiches, soups, chiles, etc, etc, etc.!

Ingredients
  • 1cup roasted cashewsI use the salted ones but adjust the salt if you don’t.
  • 1/3cup nutritional yeastYou can increase this to taste. It adds that cheesy flavour and your B12!
  • 2 cloves garlicor sub 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
  1. In your handy food processor, mince your garlic.
  2. Then add the roasted cashews, the nutritional yeast and the onion powder. Pulse until you get a mixture that you can sprinkled. Be careful not to over mix, as it will turn into nut butter!
  3. Keep in a jar in the fridge and sprinkle on anything that needs a bit of crunch or that “cheesiness”. Enjoy!
