Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.and line your pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter , the peanut butter, the sugar and the maple syrup until fluffy.
  4. Add your milk, vanilla, orange juice and rind to the butter mixture and blend.
  5. Now add your sifted dry ingredients and mix to combine.
  6. Add the oatmeal and craisins with a quick stir.
  7. Fold in the rice krispy cereal.
  8. At this point, you can chill the dough for a few minutes or go ahead and shape them. Roll the dough in 1 inch balls and place on parchment, leaving room to spread a little. With the bottom of a glass, flatten each cookie a little to create an even look.
  9. Optional but tasty and attractive: Before baking, make the orange sprinkle by crushing some orange rind into coarse sugar with your fingers to create an orange-coloured sprinkle! So simple but wonderful! Sprinkle on your cookies and then bake for about 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool. Enjoy!
