This is an old family recipe that I am passing on! It is a simple combination of a whole fresh orange and some fresh cranberries. This modern version uses a food processor instead of a hand grinder, so it is much easier now than it was for Grandma!
Wash your cranberries and pick out any that have gone soft.
Wash your orange and cut in quarters. Remove seeds but do not peel!
Combine sugar, orange pieces, and washed cranberries in your food processor and process until desired texture. It’s best when the orange peel is very small.
Keeps well in a jar for a few weeks or you can freeze it for much longer. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
Serve with holiday feasts or enjoy it as a tart spread on a muffin!
