This couldn’t be much easier but always looks fancy! The flavours are rich and simple, pairing well with so many meals. Try adding a pop of colour and freshness to the plate with some pomegranate seeds!
In a 350 degree F. oven, toast the slivered almonds until they are a little brown.Watch closely so they don’t burn. It should take only a few minutes.
Wash and remove the hard ends of the asparagus stalks.
Heat a grill or cast iron pan with a little oil. Lay your asparagus stalks in the pan and allow to brown a little and soften. Do not overcook. Season with a little salt and pepper to taste.
Place the asparagus on your serving tray and sprinkle with browned almonds.
Sprinkle a few pomegranate seeds over the top and serve hot. Enjoy!
