Winter Banana Split
Warm Roasted Hazelnut Chocolate Spread drizzled generously over a banana and topped with chopped, lightly salted hazelnuts makes a perfect treat for a cold day! Super simple and simply scrumptious!
Roast your hazelnuts in a 350 degree oven for a few minutes until toasted but not dark. While warm, sprinkle lightly with salt.
Chop the nuts roughly.
Warm 4-5 Tablespoons of this amazing spread in the microwave or in a saucepan. Add a little plant milk and stir until smooth and the desired consistency.
Just before serving, slice the banana into a serving dish. Drizzle the warm sauce over until desired level of chocolate is reached. Sprinkle with the hazelnuts and enjoy! Repeat whenever you feel like treating yourself to a wonderful, plant-based dessert!
Recipe Notes
Frankie saw the special spoon and naturally thought this was for her. The hazelnuts and bananas are great to share, but no chocolate for our fuzzy family members.
